Today’s beauty beat: DEJAVU FIBERWIG 3D Mascara. If you know me, you know I’m a dyed-in-the-wool fan of blinc mascara. BUT, there’s always room to entertain a new crush in my book. A friend of mine who lives in Hong Kong dropped this lash-lengthening treat in the mail no too long ago. The whacky packaging had me on the spot. Dubbed as “paint-on false lashes”, its blended translation reads: Happy infinite romances occur in a newborn oasis. Wink your future! While definitely amused, I was skeptical. But what a delight when I actually gave it a go. My lashes looked long and full, it was easy to apply, PLUS (what’s most important to me), I couldn’t smudge my lashes during the day for the life of me. It stays put, even after a dip in the pool, until you wash it off with soap and water. Definitely rivals my number one beauty staple ( in case you weren’t paying attention: blinc mascara). And it falls in at $14-18/per tub (unless you buy at Sephora: don’t buy at Sephora). That ain’t too shabby compared to the fancy pants mascaras. Definitely worth a try.
