It doesn’t matter whether or not the groundhog saw his shadow last week. Just for the record, Punxsutawney Phil did see his while, here in the South, General Beauregard Lee did not. But even as record-setting snowstorms continue to pound the country, there are certain signs of spring. Specifically, birds are migrating back at a record pace.

The weather outside is frightful. Good ol’ Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humor and I, for one, am not laughing. But I have found a way to deal with Her. I’ve decided to stay in bed until spring. Of course, I’ll need to be surrounded by a few creature comforts.

You already know I'm a big fan of FitFlops...so it's probably no surprise I've been interested in the fitness athletic shoes out on the market like Reebok Easytones or Skechers Shape Ups which offer "a shape up while you walk". An avid fan of multi-tasking anything, an opportunity to tone my legs more effectively, burn more calories and improve my posture during the course of everyday activities is Just. Too. Good. To. Pass. Up.
